Helderberg Hospice is privileged to have a very active group of fundraising volunteers whose vigorous and varied fundraising activities provide a steady flow of income to support operational costs. In an effort to become more self-sustaining, Helderberg Hospice operates two second-hand shops, in Somerset West and Strand. The shops are stocked with clothing, household goods, books and furniture donated by community members. We are in the process of upgrading the Hospice depot where goods are sorted and distributed to the Hospice Shops.

The gates open at 17h00 and you are welcome to bring your picnic basket, blanket or chairs, a warm jacket - and all your friends and relations to enjoy your supper in this most beautiful of settings. Just before the sun goes down, we present a Christmas Tableau with wonderful Christmas music and communal carol singing.
Do remember to bring a torch to help you find your way back to your car in the dark!
